9. T.R. Knight
Knight is best known for playing Dr. George O’Malley on Grey’s Anatomy. He’s also appeared in Law & Order and The Good Wife. The reason he left Grey’s was because news broke out that co-star, Isiah Washington, directed an anti-gay slur in his direction. He came out publicly after this news broke, and in October 2013 he married his longtime boyfriend Patrick.
