5. Shae and Tyrion in bed just before Stannis' army invades King's Landing - Season 2 Episode 9:
Shae started out simply as Tyrion's whore but they fell in love and became passionately, loyally devoted to one another as she traveled with him to King's Landing. Though they have to keep their relationship a secret, they spend time together when they can.
In this scene, they are lying in bed together just before Stannis Baratheon's army is set to attack King's Landing from the ocean to overthrow the Lannisters. Shae senses Tyrion's fear and when he admits his feelings, she comforts him, lovingly reminding him of when they first met. He does not disguise how much her words and adoration mean to him. Their connection, despite the oddity of how they got together, and the circumstances of their relationship, is touching and they are perhaps the most consistent and real couple in the show.
