2. Robb Stark and Talisa Maegyr - Season 2 Episode 8
As Robb Stark, so-called King in the North, finds military success against Lannister forces, he meets Talisa, a foreign-born battlefield healer from the free city of Volantis. Just as the two realize they've fallen for one another, Robb must promise himself to a daughter of Lord Frey as part of a deal forming an alliance between the houses, which Robb needs as Frey controls a very strategically important area. When Robb returns from his negotiations and discusses the situation with Talisa, she tells him she understands. But despite her acceptance, they cannot control their longing and they engage in a kiss, letting themselves get swept away in the moment.
This is one of the purest sex scenes in the show—one of the only ones that can be considered love scenes. It is entirely sweet, meaningful and sincere and one of the few relationships fans can whole-heartedly root for. Not to mention, both parties are quite attractive and Robb happens to have the added bonus of being a triumphant, noble rebel and possibly soon-to-be true king.
