4. Robert Benigni
In 1999 Roberto Benigni won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language film. In childish excitement he began climbing over seats, riling the entire audience with his enthusiasm. He proceeded to hop and skip his way to the stage, where he embraced Sophia Loren (who had announced his award) in an exaggerated bear hug. The spectacle was amazingly sweet to watch, but highly unusual.
