4.“The Sirens of Titan”
Vonnegut’s second novel was published in 1959 nominated for the Hugo Award. A bulk of the story revolves around the earth being invaded by Martians and giving the protagonist an opportunity to take a journey through space to other worlds. There’s also a play on free will and the meaning of human history that only Vonnegut takes the plunge to tell.
