7. “God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater"
In this novel we are introduced to the protagonist, Eliot Rosewater and Kilgore Trout, who we see in other Vonnegut novels, Breakfast of Champions and Timequake. Rosewater acts as a firefighting drunk with the important president position of the lucrative Rosewater Foundation. Mr. Rosewater leaps into issues involving greed and hypocrisy in an attempt to experiment with human nature.
