This song is epic for so many reasons. This is the song that told us the story of Justin’s breakup with Britney Spears. We learn that she cheated on him and he found out on his own. He can’t believe that she did this but he isn’t going to let her get the best of them. When the video came out the buzz was out of control because the girl in this video very much looked like she could be Britney’s twin. We see how Justin handled himself and he was the one to give us all the answers. Thank you Timbaland for the amazing beat behind this song as well and coming up with the phrase “the damage is done so I guess I’ll be leaving.” Words to live by.
