Coming in at number 1 is 1975’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. The film was the second in history to win all five major Academy Awards (Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director, and Screenplay), the first being It Happened One Night in 1934. The film is based on the 1962 novel of the same name by author Ken Kesey. The film was shot at Oregon State Hospital in Salem, Oregon, which was also the setting of the novel.
