3. Lexie Grey
Lexie Grey was played by Chyler Leigh from the third to the eighth season, and was daughter of Susan and Thatcher Grey. She was a surgical intern at the hospital, and was considered to be kind of a dork, and was eventually named a surgical resident after her mother died suddenly. She was in a relationship with Mark Sloan. The two were in a plane crash, and eventually died from severe injuries by each other’s side. The death of her character received very mixed critical feedback from fans, but the actress wanted to leave the show to spend more time with her family. She has also been a character in TV Series Taxi Brooklyn.
