For fans of the X-Men universe, the films just keep coming.
X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released in theaters on May 23rd of this year and two years from that date, X-Men: Apocalypse will be arriving on the big screen but now fans have one more film to look forward to. Following Apocalypse, another Wolverine stand alone movie will be going into production.
Coming Soon reported that James Mangold has already signed up to write the sequel to The Wolverine. Mangold took to Twitter to announce that he is working on the project.
With cost of 117M and WW gross of 415M (#2 of all X's), of course there'll be another Wolverine solo. Manufactured internet drama is boring!

Hugh Jackman has not yet been announced as returning to the franchise. Jackman has been playing the iconic character for 15 years but is not signed on for this latest Wolverine film, which has left fans wondering online if the studio would recast Wolverine.
Odds are that Jackman will not be seen in Apocalypse because Bryan Singer announced that this film would focuses on the younger X-Men cast that was used in X-Men: First Class, First Showing reported.
