French actor Omar Sy tweets that he's been cast in 'Jurassic World'

French actor Omar Sy, who gave an acclaimed performance in The Intouchables, is joining another franchise. Sy tweeted Friday that he has been cast in the fourth Jurassic Park film, Jurassic World.

Sy told his followers in both French and English that he is happy to join the project. “Fan of this saga from the beginning, I’m very proud to be part of the cast for JURASSIC WORLD,” he wrote. Sy directed his message to Universal Pictures and director Colin Trevorrow.

The director responded in French, writing “Très heureux d'accueillir @OmarSy dans Jurassic World.” Sy kept the conversation going, adding, “thanks for your trust.”
