‘Kill Your Friends’ goes into production in London

The upcoming music business satire film, Kill Your Friends, just started production in London. The film will be shooting in London for five weeks.

Kill Your Friends tells the story of the music industry back in the late 90's in London. The film focuses on Steven Stelfox who is making his way through the industry but is driven by greed and drugs. He goal is to constantly find the next big musical hit. This desire will turn murderous.

Staring in the project will be Nicholas Hoult, who is known for his work on X-Men: First Class, will be playing the role of Stelfox, Variety
reported.

John Niven wrote the screenplay for Kill Your Friends and this will mark the first feature debut for director Owen Harris.

The screenplay was adapted from his own novel which was released back in 2008, Empire Online added.

Also featured in the film will be Craig Roberts, Tom Riley, Georgia King and Edward Hogg.

No release date has yet to be announced for the film.
