A very young Michael Jackson appears on this episode of the show, arriving on stage to the sound of the audience cheering. “He loves sketching and drawing, and playing basketball, and candy, and bubblegum!” Jim Lange says of the youngest member of the Jackson Five. He asks the first question like the sweet kid he is, saying “I’ve never been out on a date before. What do two kids like us do on a date?” His contestants take it all in stride, answering Jackson’s questions about what pet they’d bring on a date and how they’d answer the phone.
