Homer notices that his friends, Lenny and Carl, are always mysteriously gone when he wants to hang out with them. He eventually follows them and discovers that they joined a secret society called the Stonecutters. Members of this society receive free benefits such as traffic shortcuts and free soda at the nuclear power plant. Homer eventually joins after he discovers that Grampa Simpson is a member. Being the son of a Stonecutters automatically gives Homer entrance, and he enjoys feeling accepted in the Stonecutters, whch mostly makes up regular male characters on the show.
