4. Moneyball
In this 2011 biographical sports drama film, Hill plays one of his more serious roles. He stars alongside Brad Pitt as his assistant, Peter Brand. Pitt plays the role of Billy Beane, who is a baseball teams general manager. He attempts to assemble a baseball team on a very lean budget by employing computer-generated analysis, Peter Brand, to acquire new players and they end up breaking American League records. The film is based off of the 2003 nonfiction book. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, and Hill was up for one of those as best supporting actor.
