6. In 1978 the classic film Superman, starring Christopher Reeve, hit theaters. Even more iconic than Reeve himself is Williams’ score that he composed for the film. With the help of the London Symphony Orchestra, Williams conducted this score which became a classic superhero anthem. Whenever one hears the theme to the Superman movie, one instantly knows what movie it came from and for what superhero it is for. With a big brass section and cymbals, it is quite fitting for the world’s most well-known and indestructible superhero.
