Top 10 John Travolta Movies

6. Staying Alive
This 1983 musical drama was the sequel to 1977’s Saturday Night Fever. He co-starred with Finola Hughes (of future General Hospital fame) and Cynthia Rhodes (of future Dirty Dancing fame.) Travolta reprised his role as Disco king Tony Manero. Set six years after the first film, Manero is now living in Manhattan, staying in a flophouse while he works as a dance instructor and as a waiter at a dance club, looking for his big break in the modern dance productions on Broadway. The production value on Satan’s Alley, the Broadway production Manero ends up getting cast in is spectacular and Travolta’s dancing ability jumps off the screen, but in the end, it was his signature strut that made the ladies swoon yet again.
