10. Corpse Bride
Tim Burton’s dark take on animated films is a fantastic contrast between children and traditional movies aimed at them. For this film, they used actual figures of the characters and moved them by hand for every gesture, facial expression and movement for every scene. Corpse Bride was nominated in 2005, but unfortunately lost to Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
