3. Be-Bop-A-Lula (by Gene Vincent)
This very popular oldie, as originally sung in 1957 by Gene Vincent, hit three U.S. charts in a top 10 position. It was also a hit in the U.K. and has been featured in the movies The Girl Can’t Help It, The Delinquents, Wild at Heart and Pleasantville. The Everly Brothers recorded the song in late 1957 and included it on their third album, The Everly Brothers. Here they are performing it live at the Royal Albert Hall in London at their Reunion Concert in 1983, 10 years after their split.
