Little Richard hit the U.S. and U.K. charts with the original version of this song in 1957. Since then, it has been covered by countless famous artists such as The Beatles, The Who, The Animals, Deep Purple, Queen, AC/DC, Waylon Jennings, Otis Redding, and so many more.
