Get ready for kick-butting action. Alexa Vega starred as Carmen Cortez in the Spy Kids quartet. At five years old, her acting career began with her role as Emily Newton in CBS's Evening Shade, and at thirteen years old, her career skyrocketed with Spy Kids in 2001, before her comeback in Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 2011.
Perhaps we didn't know she starred as six-year-old Jo Harding in Twister, shouting for her dad right as the F5 tornado sucked him into the sky.
Her recent appearances include Amber in director Mark Young's Wicked Blood (2013) and Killjoy in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills (2013). This year, she'll star as Brittney in Spence Nicholson's horror/thriller Dweller.
