Top 10 Child actors from the 1980s to now

No. 1: Abigail Breslin, Little Miss Sunshine

She's one of our favorites. Abigail Breslin, a child actor since she was six years old in 2002 Signs, she has won our hearts with her lovably fun nature and adorable characters. Perhaps our favorite role is Olive Hoover, the squealing ten-year-old in Little Miss Sunshine, in which she was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role.

At twelve years old, she starred as other major roles such as Kit Kittredge in The American Girl Series' Kit Kittredge, in which she played a Great Depression girl cracking a mystery case in her neighborhood, and Nim Rusoe in Nim's Island, a swashbuckling adventure about a young girl teaching life skills to a boring, petrified author on a tropical island.

Most recently, she played the hero's sister Valentine Wiggin in Ender's Game last year, and created a voice-over for Priscilla in Rango in 2011.

Breslin has earned a net worth of $12 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, having earned the title as one of the richest young actors in America.
