Why they should: It would be interesting to see a no name play the lead. Plus, with someone new, it might help draw in the skeptics who don't think that experienced celebrities could play Peter honestly.
Why they shouldn't: It is a lot of pressure to be on TV. It is a lot of pressure to sing live. A major NBC musical event isn't the best place to test the acting waters.
