9. Chores
Okay, so it’s not the most fun thing to do on a snow day. However, it is easy to make it fun. Or, you can simply offer money. A clean house and quiet kids is worth $5, isn’t it?
A fun game is to pretend that you are the evil stepmother/father and they are Cinderella or a little prince. The cleaning becomes less like a chore and more like pretending to be a royal.
Another game is simple. A race. You can race your child on who can clean the fastest and the best. If you have more than one child, set up a reward. Whoever finishes first gets a prize. This will work in the future as well, seeing that everyone always wants a prize.
