5. For men, have several pairs of pants/shirts so there’s always something clean and pressed.

My husband cares little for clothes and despite a closet full of outfits people have given him over the years. That said, he used to have only two pants and two shirts that he actually liked and routinely wore and inevitably one of them had a stain on it. Now, instead of running around at the last minute throwing things in the laundry or ironing shirts, my solution was to buy him numerous pairs of the pants/shirts he likes that I replace on a regular basis as they become frayed or stained.
