2. Kalka Mail Derailment, India
In July 2011, 80 people were killed and more than 350 injured after a Kalka Mail train bound for New Delhi derailed, reported Reuters. Two Swedish nationals were killed in the disaster, which was one of the worst the country had suffered in years.
