And of course the top spot goes to the lady of the hour! Wonder Woman is the most widely known female superhero of all time and has come to be the symbol for gender equality. One unique thing about the Amazonian woman is that her identity was never her own; she bought her identity from an Army nurse she met while in America. How cool is that? She has been fortunate enough to have had her own TV series (real and animated) and an animated movie. She is the rock star of super-heroines!
