7. Unstoppable
This 2010 action thriller was directed by Tony Scott and was his final feature film before his 2012 suicide. Loosely based on the real-life CSX 8888 incident, Washington co-starred with Chris Pine, as two men trying to stop a runaway freight train. Also starring Rosario Dawson, Washington and Pine made a seamless pairing of two men determined to stop an out-of-control locomotive before it cost lives.
