Currington knew what he was singing about when he recorded the song “People Are Crazy.” The 39-year-old country singer allegedly cursed and threatened a man who passed by his property while conducting a boat tour. The 70-year-old Charles Harvey Ferrelle reported it to police the next day, stating that he “feared for his life.” Currington was charged with abuse of an elderly person.
