4. Home Alone (1990)
Home Alone is... interesting. On one hand, it is a funny movie that is great for Christmas. On the other, it is about a little kid who gets left behind when his family goes on vacation. Then, since he is home alone (get it, because that's the title), he has to use his wits and an array of homemade traps to defend the house against a pair of bumbling burglars. Logic aside, Home Alone is great.
Home Alone relies on physical humor and that is totally fine. No matter how many times you see it, it is still hilarious to see a man get hit where the sun don’t shine. I only wish I was as smart as that kid.
The sequel to Home Alone is just as great. The series started going downhill when they replaced Macaulay Culkin with another kid, which is like getting burnt by a blowtorch - not cool.
