I am a sucker for any Christmas movie that promotes Christmas magic. Christmas is such a magical and wonderful time and it's great when movies find ways to reflect that.
This 1947 classic is about an old man who becomes Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’s Santa after replacing a drunken actor. The new Santa is named Kris Kringle. Because people love him so much, he ends up becoming the store’s regular Santa. It turns out that Kris Kringle is actually the real Santa. The film is so inspirational, it can even make grown-ups feel like kids again.
