Tina Fey is simply a comedic genius. Fey’s list of accomplishments is miles long for her success as an actress, comedian, writer, producer, and author. Fey blessed us with her comedy for almost a decade on NBC’s SNL, where she worked as both head writer and performer. After a tearful and devastating departure from SNL, the glowing ball of talent moved on to create the critically acclaimed series 30 Rock. Tina Fey’s intoxicating timing and humor has brought us some of the funniest films of our decade, including Mean Girls and Date Night, just to name a few. The creative rock star has won eight Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes, five Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Writers Guild of America Awards (and those are only the popular awards). I would like to take a peek into Fey’s trophy room, and then maybe move in and become her best friend.
