Lena Dunham is by far our favorite Girl(s) from the hilarious HBO comedy series. The Hollywood newcomer stunned audiences with her witty and intelligent writing in her acclaimed HBO series Girls which was nominated eight times at the Emmy Awards, and has won two Golden Globe Awards. This fierce female made her debut with her 2010 independent film Tiny Furniture, which she wrote and directed. Dunham has been known for her outward refusal to appease Hollywood stereotypes, and to quote the brilliant writer’s character Hannah, “I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drummer, ever since I cut my camp shirt into a halter top.”
