Director, Bryan Singer has announced a new X-Men movie coming out in 2016. The film will be titled X-Men: Apocalypse.
Singer took to Twitter to break the news to fans. The film will be produced by The 20th Century Fox, added Variety.

IGN added that Apocalypse is a major villain in the X-Men comic book series.
Following Singer's tweet, Box Office Mojo, tweeted a release date for the film.

Singer is the mastermind behind the upcoming, X-Men: Days of Future Past. X-Men: Days of Future Past is a highly anticipated sequel to both X-Men and X-Men: First Class. The upcoming comic book movie is the second most expensive film in history, coming in with a budget of around $225 million dollars.
X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Evan Peters, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Ellen Page and Jennifer Lawrence.
The film is set to be released May 23, 2014.
