Ben Foster cast in Duncan Jones' 'Warcraft'

The upcoming film based off of Blizzard Entertainment's lucrative computer game, Warcraft, has begun putting a cast into place, joining the already signed Travis Fimmel and Paula Patton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Foster, Robert Kazinsky and Toby Kebell have signed on to Duncan Jones' film. Another actor, Dominic Cooper is in final negotiations.

The fantasy drama will be produced by Alex Gartner, Jon Jashni, Charles Roven and Thomas Tull. Charles Leavitt wrote the script, which was then rewritten by David Bowie's son. Warcraft is set to start shooting in Vancouver in January.

Foster can be seen, alongside Mark Wahlberg, in the upcoming film from Universal, Lone Survivor. The Pandorum actor is currently attached to star in one of the several Lance Armstrong biopics currently in production, with this one being based off of David Walsh's Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit Of Lance Armstrong.

In November, it was announced that the film's release date had been pushed back from Dec. 18, 2015 to March 11, 2016 after Star Wars: Episode VII was set to open on the same weekend.
