9. “Permanent Marker”
In my mind, this is what Swift is really like in real life. “Permanent Marker” tells the story of Taylor being a jealous/kind-of-crazy girlfriend. She draws on her boyfriend’s picture to put an ex on top of his ex’s face. The line “He found 30 other pieces/but he’ll never find them all/ tried to tape it back together/now he knows to keep it off the wall” shows how truly jealous/seriously crazy she is. But seriously though, what guy keeps a picture of his ex on the wall?
