This 2010 action adventure mystery had DiCaprio starring with a barrage of Hollywood stars such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ken Watanabe, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine. DiCaprio played Dominick Cobb, who along with his business partner, Arthur (Gordon-Levitt), performed corporate espionage utilizing an experimental military technology to infiltrate the subconscious of their targets and extract information while experiencing dream sharing. The special effects along with the endless plot twists made this movie a phenomenon. DiCaprio portrayed the ruthless businessman perfectly, though moviegoers learned he had a vulnerable side in the subplot concerning his deceased wife’s suicide and how he felt he was to blame.
