7. Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter
Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter was one of my favorite reads. It was written by Seth Grahame-Smith and published in 2010. I love the historical tie-ins with a vampire twist. It was very entertaining and a great page-turner. When I heard they were making a film, I only got more excited. The film was released in 2012 and directed by Timur Bekmambetov. I felt the film was just as entertaining and edge-of-your-seat exciting as the book. I was impressed by the action and Bekmambetov's ability to stay true to the book, while putting in his own unique tastes.
