8. Twilight
The Twilight series, written by Stephenie Meyer, was published in 2005-2008. The series consists of four books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. It follows the story of Bella Swan's love for a vampire named Edward Cullen, and her strong friendship with a werewolf named Jacob Black. The film series, like others with multiple chapters, involved multiple directors like Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Chris Weitz (New Moon), David Slade (Eclipse), and Bill Condon (Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 & 2). This series got better as each film was released, maybe an increased fan base and budget helped. Overall, this wasn't a bad series.
