Based on The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Spike Lee’s film portrayed the story of Malcolm X, an African-American Muslim minister and human rights activist. What made this one of the best biopics ever was star Denzel Washington’s performance as Malcolm X, which was probably the pest performance of his career. He painted a near perfect portrait of Malcolm X.
