Toy company, GoldieBlox, aims to offer young girls something different in their commercial, which features an altered cover of the Beastie Boys' song "Girls."

The company launched and wants to give girls toys that they can be creative with, like creating the complex Rube Goldberg machine shown in the commercial, reports New York Daily News. The ad starts off with three bored-looking girls watching a commercial selling the same old things before launching into the altered song and showing the GoldieBlox kit.

The ad already has over 3.5 million views on YouTube. The response has been absolutely overwhelming," said CEO Debbie Sterling. "Parents are showing it to their kids and now their kids want a GoldieBlox."

According to People, GoldieBlox was founded by Sterling, a Stanford engineer, who got tired of the products normally targeted at younger girls.

Raven, who also stars in the commercial, sings the altered tune, which features lyrics like "It's time to change, we deserve to see a range. Because all our toys look the same and we would like to use our brains."

NY Daily News notes GoldieBlox offers building kits combined with storytelling aimed towards girls ages 4-9. "Girls have very strong verbal skills and like characters and stories," Sterling said.
