6) Dead Alive (1992)
Directed by a little known guy by the name of Peter Jackson, Dead Alive might just be one of the goriest zombie films out there, it was actually banned in some countries, and almost broke records for the mound of gore in it. It's a ton of fun if you can manage to stomach it.
