9. Cronos (1993)
Guillermo del Toro is one of the best horror/fantasy directors of modern day, and his 1993 film Cronos was no exception. The film is about an elderly antique dealer who finds a device hidden within an artifact that latches itself onto him and essentially turns him into a vampire, but grants him immortality in the process. The film is imaginative and an interesting take on some of those classic vampire themes.
