Fans of the series former WB series Charmed got excited when it was reported the show would be getting a reboot on CBS.

CBS TV Studios was given a script deal, with Chris Keyser and Sydney Sidner executive producing. The original starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan as sisters who are witches.

Milano, however, has commented on the EW report by tweeting that it just feels like it’s too soon to do a reboot. The show aired from 1998 to 2006 and spanned eight seasons.

“The thing about them doing a #charmed reboot is... it just... it feels like yesterday. It feels too close,” she wrote.

McGowan also responded on Twitter, showing she’s clearly not a fan of the reboot either.
“They really are running out of ideas in Hollywood,” she wrote, adding, “lame lame lame lamertons.”

Huffington Post notes details of the reboot are limited at this time, but it follows in the footsteps of other shows getting reboots such as Murder, She Wrote.
