The Royal Tenenbaums: – Wilson graced the screen with yet another barrage of Hollywood elite like Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow and even his own brother, Owen in this 2001 dramedy. Wilson played Hackman’s son, Ritchie, who began as a tennis prodigy as a child but wound up a wondering hippie after a breakup. Wilson held his own with against Hackman and the others all while delivering hilarious dialogue with a totally straight face. This role definitely showed Wilson’s penchant for humor at its best.
