3. Did You Hear About the Morgans?
This 2009 romantic dramedy had Grant co-starring opposite yet another Hollywood leading lady, Sarah Jessica Parker. Grant played Paul Morgan, who, along with estranged wife Meryl (Parker), witnesses a murder and must go into the witness protection program. Grant and Parker’s chemistry was undeniable as their characters tried to work through Paul’s infidelity while hiding out from a professional assassin in the middle of nowhere. Though negatively reviewed by critics, Grant and Parker forged an unbeatable comic duo that brought about uproarious happenings throughout the movie. Co-stars Mary Steenburgen and Sam Elliott played the Wheelers, a down-home couple who help hide Grant and Parker’s characters, and how they kept such straight faces amidst the comic insanity still amazes me every time I watch it!
