9. Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
In the 2004 sequel to the mega 2001 hit, based on Helen Fielding's novel of the same name, Renée Zellweger reprised the role of Bridget Jones. In this installment, she was now dating Mark Darcy, played again by Colin Firth. But Grant’s Daniel Cleaver still lurked in the shadows, tempting Bridget with his smooth ways and promises of leaving his cheating habits behind. Grant brought a lovable quality to this philandering character that, at least for me, made me root for him to win Bridget’s heart over Mark Darcy.
