10. Music and Lyrics
This 2007 romantic comedy paired Grant with Drew Barrymore. Grant played Alex Fletcher, one-half of a washed up '80s music duo, (patterned after the '80s hit band, Wham!). Grant teamed with Barrymore’s young, offbeat Sophie Fisher, to compose a hit song for the latest teen sensation. Grant and Barrymore’s combined quirkiness jumped off the screen as they played off each other with singular wit. Critics liked the film overall as it blended romantic comedy with a slightly musical vibe.
