2. Love Actually
Grant didn’t even get a name in this ensemble 2003 romantic comedy, but his character left moviegoers delighted just the same. Grant played the new British prime minister, who fell in love with a staff member, but misunderstandings got in the way. With an all-star cast including Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman (both of whom Grant starred with in Sense and Sensibility), Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Keira Knightly and Laura Linney, Grant held his own as the modest prime minister, who ultimately found love and was able to loosen up. Grant’s character’s dancing scene to the Pointer Sisters' classic song “Jump (For My Love)” surely endeared moviegoers even more to the character and, nowadays, might have gotten him an offer to be a contestant on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. LOL!
