Robin Thicke is at it again. The “Blurred Lines” singer is becoming well known for hanging out with nude models, since the video starred plenty of them and he’s now on the cover of Treats! Magazine with five more. But he says that his wife, Paula Patton, has encouraged him to do this.
According to JustJared, Thicke said that the photoshoot was originally supposed to be models who were just topless, but Patton and her friends encouraged them to go all the way.
“I’ve done some topless photo shoots before but never completely nude,” he explained. “It was very sexy and I like that. At first I thought, ‘Okay, let’s just do topless’…but, again, my wife and her friends were like, ‘No way…go all the way.’ I think we definitely pushed the envelope.”
The magazine features the singer standing with five completely nude models fawning over him. In the interview, he said that Treats had actually provided the inspiration for the controversial “Blurred Lines” video after Patton and a friend saw model Emily Ratajkowski on the cover. Ratajkowski can be seen in the “Blurred Lines” video.
“I wanted to give homage where homage was due. We wanted to pay it all forward about our inspiration from Treats! for the ‘Blurred Lines’ video,' Thicke said, notes The Daily Mail.
Thicke recently got the Internet talking when he was seen in an Instagram picture grabbing another woman’s butt. He later posted a family photo with Patton and their son to squash any rumors that their marriage is in trouble.
